I probably won’t be working on this quilt for quite some time. I don’t even have the pattern yet. I have a lot of other projects I’ve got in my head and already bought fabric for so I feel like I should work through those before I get to a swoon quilt. I really really love it though. Here’s my color palette for what I’d like to use in my future Swoon quilt.
Here is my color palette.
I LOVE these colors. I hope I can eventually get to it soon!
I’ve been doing a lot of random doodles and patterns and illustrations. Here is one inspired by vintage postage and a Santa Fe themed color palette. You can see other projects on my flickr. I really want to turn these into some sort of pattern. What do you think? Do you have any cute illustrations or patterns?
Farrow & Ball create beautiful colors. They started off in England making paint one batch at a time in 1946. In the past few years, they’ve had an interest in the revival and restoration of historically accurate colors. On top of that, they are very concerned with making their paints environmentally safe and have low to minimal VOCs.
