Did I mention I’ve been sewing non-stop? So as promised here are the new quilts that are or are soon to be for sale in my shop.
I originally made this one for myself and still really like it so I am not sure if I am going to sell it or not, but I figured it needed a good photograph anyway.
And finally is the banner quilt I have been working on. After finishing it up, which I wasn’t too pleased with, I decided it was all wrong. It’s too narrow and long. I’m still planning on selling it if anyone is interested in it, but I don’t think it’s my best work. I totally redid the quilt and love the new one. I’ll share that one in my next post.
In my last post I mentioned how I am planning for a super awesome show here in Indianapolis in June called the Indieana Handicraft Exchange. On top of that, I am planning on having a table at First Friday coming up in just a few days! I have been frantically trying to get as much finished as possible including getting my finished quilts photographed outside since the weather has been so great. Some I already had listed in my shop, but others are new. I’ll share everything I get wrapped up over the next week if I have enough time to sit down and write about it.
Here are the older quilts that I just rephotographed.
I came across Alex MacLean’s work and immediately fell in love. One of my favorite things is take off and landing during a flight. I will fight tooth and nail for a window seat, especially on a clear day to look over whatever city I am leaving or coming into. MacLean’s collection of aerial photography came out of a course on community planning while attending Harvard University for architecture.
It’s really hard to choose my favorites. See more of McLean’s work on his site.
